Synopsis

This collection contains stories from the 60s, 70s and 90s.

1962-1963
Roy makes his England debut against South American side Caragua. England win 3-1 (Roy 2).

1966
Whilst on tour in Australia during the real 1966 World Cup, Rovers found themselves representing England in an alternative tournament, organised by a wealthy sheep farmer, where their opponents included a team of Italian acrobats!


1977-1978
Roy takes over as caretaker-manager of England and after defeating Holland 5-1 turns down the full-time job.

1991-1992
Roy appointed player-manager of England 'B' team and wins a four-nation tournament v USA, France and Segovia.
