Published on 2 August, 2010

Scroobius Pip has a facinating chat with author and fellow spoken word poet Musa Okwonga about the difference between performance poetry and the written word!
Musa Okwonga is an acclaimed poet, football writer, musician. He studied law at Oxford, qualifying as a solicitor at one of the City’s top firms, before leaving to pursue a career as a performance poet and author. In 2008 his first football book, A Cultured Left Foot, was nominated for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year Award; his second book, Will You Manage? will be published this month.
