Are you an experienced book editor? Do you have a passion for illustrated books? Are you confident and well-organised?

Titan Publishing Group, the UK’s leading publisher of fiction, entertainment, popular culture and illustrated/art books, is currently recruiting for a Project Editor.

The main purpose of your role will be to manage the creation of the key books on Titan’s growing list of licensed entertainment tie-ins, from conception to delivery. You will be responsible for managing relationships with key licensors in the movie, television and gaming industries, monitoring potential publishing opportunities in these areas, and for the scheduling, budgeting and quality control of key titles.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience of making high-quality illustrated books, have strong organisational and motivational ability, outstanding written and verbal communication skills and strong numeracy. Computer literacy in InDesign, Word and Excel is vital.

In addition, the candidate must have excellent editing skills, an eye for design, be well-organized and able to set priorities under pressure and have a demonstrable passion for movies, gaming and TV.

Your role will also include regular departmental liaison with the Titan Design Studio and Production Department, as well as the domestic and international Sales & Marketing teams, part of which will involve giving presentations on the live title programme.
