The final countdown has begun for SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON 2011. Here at THE TITAN BOOTH, things are gearing up for a great Con, with guest favorites, amazing show exclusives, and an enviable prize draw on Booth 5537!

Roman Dirge – Celebrating a New Art Collection, Taxidermied, new issue of Lenore Comic, and Lenore Merchandise.

Roman is appearing in a panel on Friday 22nd July 11:00am-12:00pm to discuss his new stunning full-color collection of original artwork, Taxidermied: The Art of Roman Dirge, and his much-loved Lenore comic series (Room 23ABC).  He will also be signing copies of both the new book and comic in Autograph Alley AA2 on Friday from 12:30pm-1:30pm (Line ticket drawing to be held 9:00 a.m on Friday in the Autograph Area).

The Con will be the first opportunity to see Taxidermied, a lavish hardback of rare and previously unpublished artwork with commentary by Dirge himself and Lenore Vol II # 3, ‘Where Pooty At’, available in two variant covers.  Titan Merchandise will also have their latest Lenore T Shirts and mugs debuting for sale on the booth.

Joe Simon - My Life in Comics, Signed Autobiography by Joe Simon, plus all-new  Fighting American T-Shirts

In his very own words, this is the life of Joe Simon, half of the famous creative team Simon and Kirby. Simon began his prolific career in the Great Depression, and his autobiography reveals what it was like to bring comics out of their infancy, as they became an American art form. Pick up a copy with exclusive bookplate signed by one of the most important figures in comics history!

Titan Merchandise will also be debuting their Simon & Kirby Fighting American T Shirt designs – available for sale only on Booth 5537.

Other Exclusives at the Booth

Booth 5537 will also be where to find a copy of the TANK GIRL: SKIDMARKS  trade paperback, signed by the artist Rufus Dayglo, and signed copies of the gorgeous HAGAR THE HORRIBLE 1974/1975! Collecting strip from June 1974 to November 1975, this is the continuing quest of Hagar the Horrible, the world’s mildest marauder, to put food on the family table and loot in his coffers.
