Joe Desris

Joe Desris, a freelance writer and graphic designer, is a longtime collector and historian of Batman. He wrote the definitive history of the 1940s Batman newspaper strip. He contributed research to the film “Secret Origin: The Story of DC Comics” and for Bob Kane’s autobiography, “Batman and Me,” and has written about Batman for various magazines and books for collectors, including Wizard, Comics Buyer’s Guide and Toy Collector.
