Rick McGrath

Rick McGrath is a Canadian writer, editor, designer, and publisher who began reading and collecting JG Ballard in 1976. He began his career as a journalist in 1969 and then, in 1978, switched into advertising where he held senior creative roles until his retirement in 2000. He initiated The Terminal Press in 2013 and has since published eight annual JG Ballard anthologies, a book of his 1969-1972 underground press rock star interviews and photos, two books by the Canadian playwright Lawrence Russell, and an academic study of Ballard by Dominika Oramus. He also runs the popular Ballard website, jgballard.ca, and has contributed many articles to the now-defunct website ballardian.com. He currently owns the world’s largest non-institutional collection of Ballard books and memorabilia
